Press Release: Carbon Media Group honored as a 2013 Top Workplace in Michigan by Detroit Free Press

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., November 17, 2013 – Carbon Media Group, the largest producer of digital content for outdoor enthusiasts, has been named one of the 2013 Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces in the state of Michigan. Hyaat Chaudhary, CEO of Carbon Media Group, made the announcement.

This is the first time that Carbon Media Group has been honored as a Top Workplace. The company offers comprehensive health benefits and flexible working hours for a strong work-life balance. They also provide an 18-month management-training program to give employees an avenue to learn, grow and prepare for the next stage of their careers. In addition, a pinpong table in the middle of the office, foosball and shuffleboard are all available for employee use at any time throughout the day.

“We strive to create an environment for our team that encourages creative solutions and new ways of thinking,” said Chaudhary. “In the digital media space, we need to constantly grow and evolve, so we work every day to give our team members the tools to do just that.”

Top Workplaces are determined through a comprehensive, confidential employee survey that assesses a variety of factors, including career opportunities, on-the-job training, work-life balance and more. Companies must have at least 50 Michigan-based employees to be considered. Carbon Media Group and the full list of honorees are featured in the Nov. 17 edition of the Detroit Free Press.
