“Small Town Big Deal,” a digital television program which highlights great stories in small towns across America and airs on CarbonTV, filmed an upcoming episode of the show on Mackinac Island June 21 and 22.
Hosts Jann Carl and Rodney Miller visited Jack’s Livery to drive their own horse and buggy, and visited Ryba’s Fudge to film how fudge is made.
The hosts also had afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel and interviewed the Mayor of Mackinac Island during the filming.
“I’m very excited about being able to rent and take out a horse and buggy on our own!” said Carl. “I don’t really know where else you can do that. Also, I’m pretty excited to help make some of that very famous Mackinac Island fudge!”
Season four of “Small Town Big Deal” is currently underway with new episodes premiering on CarbonTV weekly, and older episodes are available to stream.
