Carbon Media Group becomes exclusive digital video content partner of the Professional Bull Riders

100 live event streams, broadcast companion content and hundreds of hours of archival content will be available free to PBR fans on CarbonTV.com

PUEBLO, Colo. – The Professional Bull Riders has partnered with digital content powerhouse Carbon Media Group to make CarbonTV.com the official home of PBR digital video content starting in 2015.

CarbonTV.com, the premier online video destination for outdoor and rural themed content will be the exclusive home of PBR LIVE, the PBR’s event streaming, companion content and archival content channel. A total of 100 PBR events, consisting of non-televised Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) performances, BlueDEF Velocity Tour (BDVT) events, the BlueDEF Velocity Finals and extensive coverage around the Built Ford Tough World Finals, will be broadcast live on CarbonTV.com starting with the 2015 BFTS season kickoff event in Baltimore, Maryland, on Jan. 2-3. The new agreement will make all streams available to fans worldwide free of charge.

CarbonTV.com will also offer fans the popular companion features of the PBR LIVE product such as live scoring, live blogs, rider and bull match ups, round results and more.

CarbonTV.com will offer the most extensive archive of digital PBR content available, providing fans unlimited access to past PBR events, highlights and other historic content. As part of the agreement, Carbon Media Group will add the PBR’s YouTube channel to Carbon’s multi-channel network, the second largest sports MCN on YouTube, and become the worldwide exclusive online source for the PBR’s vast library of digital video content.

PBR LIVE on CarbonTV.com will broadcast a live event schedule that offers original programming nearly every weekend of the year. With coverage of both premier BFTS events, and BlueDEF Velocity Tour events, fans can now watch up-and-coming riders qualify for, and move through, the BFTS.

The PBR’s BFTS features the world’s Top 35 bull riders and the fiercest bucking bulls in the sport. In 2015, these athletes will compete in 27 events that will take place in 18 states across the country, culminating with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 21-25 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The bull riders will compete all season, trying to accumulate the valuable PBR world points needed to rise to the top and become the PBR World Champion, a title that comes with a $1 million bonus and the coveted PBR World Champion buckle.
