Job Title: Partner Relations Manager, CarbonTV

Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Business Development

Job Description

This role will report to Director of Business Development and work closely with the technical content manager, marketing manager and analytics teams. This role has both external and internal facing responsibilities. Internally, the PRM will spearhead implementing successful licensed content launches and the Carbon TV team member responsible for content performance reporting and analysis. Externally, the PRM will be the day-to-day contact for Carbon TV producer partners and will be tasked with maximizing partner success on the platform.

In addition, the PRM will be expected to proactively come up with opportunities and solutions to evolve these relationships with individual producers to help strengthen these partnerships and grow the platform. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to package ideas into a variety of mediums. This may include pitch decks, performance reports, performance analysis with key insights, press releases, case studies and other collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Working with DBD to facilitate partner sign-up and on-boarding
  • Providing weekly content performance and monthly earnings reporting
  • Fielding daily partner issues and providing insightful recommendations to improve performance
  • Vetting in-bound partner solicitations (‘gatekeeper’)
  • Providing internal stakeholders with weekly performance reporting and on-demand updates and analytics
  • Preparing actionable insights to help improve product, process, performance
  • Nurture relationships and grow audience development and monetization opportunities with CarbonTV content partners
  • Identify and build relationships with industry influencers that result in growing brand awareness and audience development opportunities
  • Work closely with the DBD to liaise with Account team to generate new Sales opportunities
  • Uncover new opportunities for exposing brand, content and company, including awards, conferences, trade shows

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or similar
  • The right candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills and project management skills. The role is the frontline with partners and this person needs to develop a strong command of the product, the process and the business case in order to know how to provide context and actionable suggestions to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency with Google Analytics and expertise in excel are required
  • Familiarity with Outdoor industry strongly preferred
  • Background in project management preferred
  • Knowledge of streaming video and OTT landscape a major plus
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and collaborative environment (outgoing, well-spoken, professional, friendly and courteous)
